Product information "Z Alsfeld Town Hall", kit.
The construction of the town hall in Alsfeld began in 1512. In 1883 the bricked-up arcades were uncovered, in 1887/88 the towers were added to the front, in 1910/11 a general renovation was carried out and in 1967/68 the towers were reinstalled at the back. After its complete restoration, the town hall is an excellent example of monument preservation work in Alsfeld, a benchmark for the love of the citizens for their city and for the attitude of the committees on issues relating to the preservation of the old town. It is Alsfeld's unmistakable landmark. The overall structure represents a very successful combination of stone architecture and wooden construction.
