The four-axle Uacs type container wagons are freight wagons for transporting bulk and powdered goods. The wagons are subdivided according to the goods to be transported: while the UACS-x are loaded with industrial goods such as coal dust, the UACS-y are used to transport foodstuffs such as soda or flour. The large originals have a special epoxy resin interior coating and a pneumatic loosening device. Both types, the Uacs-x and the Uacs-y, have the same basic structure with type Y 25 Cs UIC bogies and a welded underframe. The wagons are filled via the filling cap on the roof of the container, which can be reached via catwalks. The wagons are emptied by a compressed air system.
