Electric locomotive Rh 1118 of the ÖBB, epoch III
New for 2021: With the superbly detailed model of the cult locomotives of the Rh 1118, PIKO is setting a worthy monument to another old-style electric locomotive. The PIKO model impresses with the harmonious implementation of its prototype machine for the Federal Railroad. To be emphasized are the fine wheel sets, the exact replica of the prototypical roof equipment with filigree pantographs and the exact replica of the front sections. The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with the PluX22 decoder. The model, which is provided with a zinc die-cast frame, has excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces.
