The Südostbayernbahn (SOB) is part of the RegioNetz of the Deutsche Bahn AG, which since the year 2003 also covers the Linienstern Mühldorf. It is owned by DB RegioNetz Verkehrs GmbH and the DB RegioNetz Infrastruktur GmbH.
The Südostbayernbahn (SOB) dismissed the N cars on December 11 2016, - but at the same time it launched a new control cab coach in Bahnland Bayern look and a BR245 locomotive. On the railway platform, three of the previously used n-wagons were driven symbolically to the sidings and a new locomotive of the 245 series with control cab coach was introduced. The control cab coach had labelings in BEG design.
