The Flying Scotsman in black - world famous, fast, strong and a real legend.
Prototype: Class A3 express steam locomotive with tender. Version as a museum locomotive in post-war black with different written company numbers. 502 and 103 from around 1946 and the current company number 60103 on the smokebox door. Operational museum condition at the beginning of 2015 with corridor tender and smoke deflectors. Locomotive from the National Railway Museum in York.

Model: With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive light and sound functions. Controlled high-performance drive with flywheel in the boiler. Three axles driven. Traction tires. Locomotive and tender largely made of metal. Smoke insert installed as standard, with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke emission, digitally controllable. Two-light headlight on the locomotive that changes depending on the direction of travel and a lamp on the rear of the tender in conventional operation, can be switched digitally. Lamp on the rear of the tender can be switched to red light. Third headlight on the front of the locomotive as an electric lamp that can be switched on and off separately and switched to red lighting. Driver's cab lighting and firebox flickering can be switched digitally. Lighting of the tender passage can be switched digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED). Adjustable close coupling with kinematics between the locomotive and tender. Kinematic-guided close coupling on the tender with NEM shaft. Buffer height on the locomotive and tender according to NEM. Brake hoses, screw coupling imitations and closed cylinder covers are included.
