New for 2022: The PIKO V 60 model impresses with its robust and functionally reliable basic structure. The heavy, die-cast zinc frame and the flywheel motor ensure precisely controllable running properties. All four axles are driven. The power is drawn from all eight wheels, two of which have traction tires. The first and third axles have spiral springs to press the wheels against the track. The finely detailed undercarriage has filigree wheel sets, precisely designed jackshaft counterweights and a drive rod or coupling rod made of metal. As standard features of the PIKO Expert line, the model has close coupling kinematics, a digital interface and the white / red lighting that changes with the direction of travel. Prepared for retrofitting with a decoder and sound. Print version of the BR V 60 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn from Era III.
