Electric high-speed multiple unit EC 250 as RABe 501 "Giruno" of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). 1 end car A (Bt1), 2nd class. 1 intermediate car F (B7), 2nd class, with handicapped accessible entrances and a pantograph. 1 intermediate car G (WR6), with a restaurant area. 1 H (A5) intermediate car, 1st class, with disabled access and a pantograph. 1 end car L (At2), 1st class. As a multi-system multiple unit in use between Zurich Airport and Basel and crossing the Alps through the Gotthard Base Tunnel to Milan. Approved for Germany and Austria as well. Current operating status 2021.
