Electric locomotive Re 420 SBB, epoch VI

With digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-performance drive with flywheel, centrally installed. 4 axles powered by cardan shafts. Traction tires. The triple headlights and 1 white marker light (Swiss light change) change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Lighting can be switched to 1 red tail light when driving solo. The headlights on locomotive side 2 and 1 can be separately switched off digitally. If the headlights on both sides of the locomotive are switched off, then the double-A light functions as a red emergency stop signal on both sides. High-beam headlights, cab lighting and engine room lighting can each be controlled digitally separately. Maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED) are used for the lighting. Attached metal handle bars. Couplings can be exchanged for the supplied front aprons.
Length over the buffers 17.1 cm.

Prototype: Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) electric locomotive Re 4/4 II as Re 420. Conversion version as part of the modernization project LION for Zurich S-Bahn traffic. Fire-red basic coloring. Locomotive road number 420 202-4. Current operating status around 2019.
