2nd class passenger car Bymb 421 DB, epoch IV

Standard built-in LED interior lighting and current-carrying couplings. The interior lighting works in conjunction with the central entry control car and can be switched on and off digitally via a decoder in the control car. A defined vehicle sequence is specified for this. Red transparent tail light inserts at the ends of the car at the front. Type-specific underbody. Minden-Deutz heavy bogies with double block brake. Passable minimum radius 360 mm. For the presentation in a showcase, toilet downpipes and push-pull control lines are included as separately attachable parts. Length over the buffers 28.2 cm.

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) 2nd class passenger coach for so-called light express trains (LS). Type Bymb 421. Colloquially known as the "middle entry car". Version with small tail lights at the top and translation windows at the entrances at the end of the car. Coloring in chrome oxide green. Operating condition around 1969.
