Description:
Arnold (N 1:160) NS, 8-unit highspeed EMU, ICE 3 class 406, light grey livery, period VI, with DCC Sound Decoder
The 3rd generation ICE trains (BR 403 & BR 406) have been in operation since 2000. The development goal of these trains was to provide more power at a lower weight. This was achieved, among other things, by distributing the 16 traction engines over the entire train, instead of just 2 or 4 engines in the power cars. The BR 406 is a multi-system train for use in Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
