"ExprD-14117" car set

Prototype: 3 different types of express train baggage cars, designed as a Postexpress train (ExprD) for the German Federal Railroad (DB). 1x Dm 902 in the color scheme ocean blue / ivory, 1x Dms 905 in the color scheme ocean blue / ivory with gray roller shutters and 1x Dm 903.1 in the product color scheme. The car looks as it did around 1989.

Model: All of the cars have close coupler kinematics. Prepared for the subsequent installation of interior lighting. The Dm 902 luggage trolley is equipped with an LED tail signal. Individually packed and labeled. Total length over the buffers 495 mm.

The matching interior lighting: 66616 LED interior lighting.

These mail trains were usually on the move at night between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. In order to use the unpopular postal network to accelerate its own baggage and express goods traffic, the DB provided the Express-InterCitys with its own type Dm and Dms baggage cars as express goods through cars. In the final expansion of the Express Intercity network, 15 trains connected important mail distribution centers in Germany, although not all Express IC operated in pairs.
